Great appetizer or party snack! Easy to prepare ahead and reheat!

Instructions

Mix 720 ml of Bisquick baking mix, and cheddar cheese shreds in a large bowl. Brown and crumble the sage sausage. Do this while frying it in the pan and do not drain any of the grease. Once brown and crumbled, placed directly into the cheese and Bisquick mix.

Begin mixing with your hands or a spoon, adding water a little at a time. Roll all ingredients into small three-quarter to 2½ cm size balls. If the batter seems gummy place it in the freezer for about 15 to 20 minutes and proceed with rolling batter into balls and placing directly onto a cookie sheet.

Bake for 16-18 minutes at 185 °C. You may need to make multiple batches to put in the oven depending on the oven size. I am accustomed to usually three batches.
