Moroccan Mint Tea
Gunpowder green tea brewed with a fistful of fresh spearmint and plenty of sugar, poured from a height so it foams in the glass.
Ingredients
- 1 tablespoon gunpowder green tea
- 750 ml water, boiling
- A large handful of fresh spearmint
- 3 to 4 tablespoons sugar, to taste
Instructions
-
Put the tea in a teapot, pour in a splash of the boiling water, swirl and pour it away; this rinses the leaves of their bitterness.
-
Add the rest of the water and leave for 2 minutes, then add the mint and sugar and stir.
-
Pour a glass and pour it back into the pot two or three times to mix.
-
Pour into small glasses from as high as you can, so a little foam forms on top.
