Instructions
Sautéed Mushrooms

-
Once the butter has melted, add the mushrooms and Worcestershire sauce to the skillet, stir to combine everything in the skillet, then cook for 5 minutes without stirring.
-
After 5 minutes, add the broth to the skillet and allow it to evaporate, this will take approximately 8-10 minutes.
-
Once almost all of the liquid has cooked out of the skillet, add the minced garlic and black pepper to the skillet with the mushrooms.
-
Cook for an additional 3-4 minutes, remove from the heat and set aside.
Burgers

Prepare the burger patties by combining the ground beef, steak seasoning and Worcestershire sauce in a large bowl. Form into four 113 g patties.
-
Heat a grill to medium-high heat.
-
Once the grill is hot, add the burgers and grill for 4-5 minutes per side.
-
During the last 1-2 minutes of cooking time, place a piece of Swiss cheese on each burger patty.
-
Place the buns on the grill to toast.
-
Remove the burgers from the grill and allow them to rest on a cutting board for 3-5 minutes before placing them on the buns.
-
Place the burgers on the toasted buns, top with the sautéed mushrooms and add any other optional toppings of your choice.
